Gulyara Aboriginal Corporation currently coordinates the Warren Blackwood Women’s Refuge Working Party – participants include Bevan Eatts MLA, Shire of Manjimup, Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes, Manjimup Family Centre, Bridgetown Hub, WAPOL, Department of Communities and community members which lived experience.
Gulyara Directors joined Bevan Eatts MLA on 4th December 2025 as he made a grievance to the Labor Government about lack of FDV services in Warren Blackwood, with direct concerns about lack of Women’s Refuge. This was followed my media engagements to raise further awareness.
